So, my husband is "not in to" the rocks, but I am. We have done something to remedy the "boredom" problem for him. It's getting colder outside, and so the garage is just about off limits. He moved his scroll saw in the house, so he has something to do while I am grinding rocks in to cabs. Keeps him busy, and we are getting some Christmas gifts done as well. With the times the way they are, need to save all we can on everything we can. This is what he has been up to. I just finished painting these, so couldn't move them off the paper. But he cut them out, and since I am still waiting on my wire to get here, I needed something else to do as well....so I painted. Fun huh? Well, thanks for lookin'! Marie

Beautiful cutting on that wood and your paint jobs are great! I can't draw a strait stick man, let alone stay in the lines with color....oh well. Fran

Very beautiful projects Marie and Mr. Marie. Gifts that are hand made mean so much more, with all the thought put into them.

Great work on the scroll saw, and the painting. I'm sure the recipients will treasure your gifts for years to come

Nice work. What's with the elephant/reindeer on the crosses? Just favorite animals? Very cool idea.

Thanks everyone! Toad - yeah, the folks those were made for either collect or like those animals, so that's what he put on them. We've made a ton more of these, and still have plenty to do, people just keep wanting them, so that's cool. Thanks again everyone! Marie

Very neat. I'll talk to my wife about getting something for our son. But it has to fit into her decorating scheme.
