Hi everyone! Here's a pendant made of Lapis and African blue lace agate, together with a silver strip. Firstly, a couple of progress pics: I used Bison epoxy to put the pieces together. And different angles of the finished pendant: And a picture of the back: Thank you for looking, Adrian

Adrian, that is WAAYYY cool! I'm curious how you managed to do the shaping/grinding/sanding with the silver sticking out of the top - it looks like it was NOT easy!

This is probably one of the most awe inspiring pieces I have ever seen. The reason I started this journey was that I loved intarsia. Adrian, I think you should enter this in a competition. I think you would win many awards and recognition.

Thank you friends, I'm glad you like it Moondragon, any idea of a contest I could compete in? So far I only competed in the Stoneageindustries monthly contest. Linna is a sweet, but I think she won't be glad to see me competing for the n-th time Adrian

Santa, thanks so much for sharing your process. I was trying to mentally reverse-engineer it and your technique was a pleasant surprise. I always learn from your work Adrian! Thank you!

Here is the contact info for the Lapidary Journal magazine. www.lapidaryjournal.com/aboutlj.cfmContact the editorial staff via email and tell them you would like to write an article for their magazine using the Stone and Metal Intarsia. They will jump all over it. Lots of people enjoy intarsia and there are never many articles written about it. And the design element of your piece is awesome. You got to think of a name for the design though. Something magical and romantic, like.....True Blue (is my love for you). You decide on name.. you are romantic person, you can see you are in the things you create. You have designed many things that are worthy of publishing but this one is so exciting with all the elements I think it should be first. What do the rest of yall think?

Thank you Moondragon. I just e-mailed them, let's see if they are interested. There are some awesome projects there, very elaborated and professional looking. I keep my fingers crossed.

Thank you all again. Your words are too kind.
Amber, yes that silver strip is still glued but also inserted in the cut stone.
