I bought a few pounds of tigereye which cost a little more than I usually spend on imported material, so I don't want to goof it up. The slabbing went well and the cut faces show the tigereye effect.
Can this material go in a mixed UV-10 load with jasper, agate and a few other 7's? Is there anything else I should be aware of with tigereye?
Thanks for your advise.
Darryl.

I've tumbled tiger-eye with my agate and jasper just fine with no problems. Here is an example of one I've done. I know some have already seen this one but I still think it looks nice.

Yep, I also tumble tiger eye with other jasper and agate all the time with good results. Tiger iron is in my opinion kind of another story in case you decide to try it too. In the loads I've done, the tiger eye fibers tend to drop out of it sometimes leaving pits. Guess it's not as silicified as regular tiger eye.....Mel

Thanks for the input. As beautiful as it is, it doesn't require any special attention. That's my kind of rock.
Nice shine on your sample Tom. That's what I am hoping for.
Darryl.
