These were in the same batch as the Utah agates. Needed some filler so added from my misc pile. Most of the material comes the Northwest. The garnets were given to me by a friend. They are pretty small, with the largest the size of a small pea. The rest are really just chips. They were small enough that I only put them in course grit for 3 days. They came out alright but the finish is a little matted. Sorry, the picture isn't the best.

I really like the garnets. I used to buy them as almondine garnets from Bergs rock shop, havn't seen any for sale for quite awhile. I put some in every batch as filler. Any way, love the colors.

Nice batch!You cant beat Carnelian for color,those came out super.

I love carnelian so much more tumbled than cabbed, don't know why but I love a shiny orange stone!
