I finished up a single barrel today. All my other barrels are twixt coarse and pre-polish. The bulk of this barrel was chevron amethyst for my grand-daughters and I added a few pieces to help keep the tumble churning.
This is an agate I've come across kinda often in the pet wood found in the Nueces river gravels. It seems to fill voids in the wood?
Railroad track jaspers:
Unknown jaspers from Ebay.
An agate nodule I sliced. Unknown, probably Mexican.
Parrot wing. It lost about 30% and the shine has hazy areas due to differing hardness zones.
I've been curious whether that big chunk of Succor creek I cut up would take a polish. It will.
