Hi Everyone, Here is my second batch of beach rocks, they are larger then the ones from my last tumble. I think they came out pretty nice. I have been starting with the fine grit because the rocks are already rounded, but I think on my next batch I'll start with the course grit to smooth out the rocks more. It looks like the polish is trapped in the cracks even after running them in borax for about ten hours, any way to get it out? The pictures are different views of the same batch. Thanks for looking, Lynn

It could be polish left over or just rough pit areas that keep a whitish look to them. Just how some rocks are. The shine is fantastic and going with the rough grit even for a short time of a week or two would probably help clear out any flaws you would like to smooth in the next batch. I would say that you should be pretty proud of the results you got here! They look great! Fran
