Howdy folks, Just got these out of the mini-sonic. Seven days in Rockshed AO and they took a polish comparable to my rotary experiments except half the time. Sorry for the pic quality. I've got to make me a light box one of these days. Thanks for looking....Mel
Condor and a west Texas moss:
Big 2 1/2" plus Brazilian Piranah Agate. This is a cushion top from a broken windchime.
Red and purple Laguna. This is much prettier in person.
Chihuahua sagenite. Don't like this much as all the little fibers make tiny specks where they hit the surface
Couple of Morgan Hill Poppy Jaspers from scraps
Got this from the estate sale. maybe Montana but I think Indian dendritic.
Again from the estate. Can't quite place this agate. Lots of shadow effect. maybe a pink bot or Queenie?
Moctazuma from a broken slab
Three Marfa Plume. These look much better in transmitted light.
Deep red Laguna with black sagenite along the edges. Again much better in transmitted light
Mozarkite ( I think) and if you look close you can see a tiny turritella shell in the chert
Mexican Black Lace with a nice sagenite spray. Love this stuff!
Finally I found my lost little dryhead cab with the red bird, plus a small sail out of a T-Egg;
Arizona Rainbow wood and a vaguely rectangular scrap of moss I just threw in for the heck of it
Weird mustard yellow Laguna with black widows ( black vein like inclusions)
Again from the estate. I think this is orbicular Indian fancy jasper but might be ocean jasper variant
And finally. I like this stuff too. Mexican Calico Lace Agate
