Love the design you used to create the jewelry from the points. What a cool legend. Speaking of which I am going to get all the amethyst I can find in the house including the cluster and super glue it on my forehead. If I had known that is all it takes to find love I would have done it years ago:) Merry Christmas Abuelito:)

Those are beautiful! I read on your other thread that you only have a chainsaw, hammer and chisel to work with. Is that what you used to make these?
I love Veracruz! I spent a few days there in 2000. Not near long enough for me, but was sick as a dog and ended up coming back home. Have always wanted to go back for a couple of weeks or so. Maybe one of these days!

llana2go,,,,,well thank you for your post, first of all i have more than a chain saw and chisel and hammer,,that i posted that we would have something to laugh about,,,i really have more, now about veracruz, its a lovely city, watch the big boats loading drink coffee on the malecon, watch the people, look at all the watches the hawkers are selling the rolexs for 10 dollars, and every brand know for sale,,,the rolex are really hard to know they are false,,as well as the others they sell, and the perfume, any brand you want, and cigars from cuba, now only drink water from bottles sold purefied ,now make sure the cap hasnt been broken, because some get used bottles and refill them,,,dont eat anything sold on the street,,,Dont eat oysters at all,,if you want to eat fish ask the waiter to see the fish,if smells bad dont order it,,,get nice hotel they cost about 80 dollars, but dont eat in the hotel go to a resturant,,,next to wall marts there is a resturant called PORTON,wall marts own it,and the food is top quality,,well ill be now in trouble for posting a long post,,just dont like folks getting sick ab

Well, we can laugh at me cause I believed it! LOL!
I didn't get sick from food, water or anything down in Mexico. I was half sick when I left home. Thought the warmth and sunshine in Mexico would help me get better faster. Only problem was that it was colder and wetter in Mexico than here at home.
I must have a cast iron stomach cause I ate food from the vendors on the street in Monterrey and thought it was yummy! Of course, I really hadn't eaten much in several days and I didn't have much sense of taste either because I was sick, so maybe under normal circumstances, it wouldn't have been so yummy. LOL! But, it didn't make me sick.
Or maybe I have developed a cast iron stomach from licking rocks!
