Sands,
Thanks for the heads up ! Missed the earlier action this year because of the HEAVY cloud cover here in Iowa. The rain wasn't much of a help either !

I was hoping to see some of this but the way the weather is, I will be lucky to see sky tonight at all! I heard that it is supposed to be at the best stage tonight (Sunday). Fran

Weve had a couple of probs here - nothing major - just ad networks putting crud on the board causing popups etc. Im sure youll get the boat going so you can get fishing in it.
I was just outside its 9pm here and about 3 degrees above freezing - had about 4 minutes of totally clear sky in gemini but saw nothing. Im going out again in a bit - I dont like the xfactor and its on for another hour yet I think.

I saw a few last night as we're dead clear here and no street lights etc so it's real dark but they seemed to be straight overhead and my neck was getting sore from looking straight up. I'll try again for awhile tonight and see how it goes. The one's I saw were not as nice as some of the showers I've seen in the past at our old California ranch. Think those were Persiads and were lower towards the horizon so you could really see them streak across the sky.....Mel

Tony and I were watching this house that has the christmas lights set to music, and we both at the exact time spotted the biggest falling star we ever saw!!!!! We were so excited, and it was his Birthday I am thinking we are going to win the lottery or something! LOL
