These are some drilled performs that have just been glued and fitted with an up-eye. Add a jump ring and an ID tag and they become necklace-ready pendants. This is part of my December batch from the UV-10. What I really wanted to on about is the way that they are secured while the glue dries. Many RTHers use foam blocks, but they don’t always contour the rock after a number of uses. Worse yet is the electrostatic attraction of those little foam balls that fall of. This is a 1-pound pug of duct seal from the electrical department of most hardware stores. It’s cheap, moulds easily (even in the cold) and can be used again, and again, and again … It can be used for any glue application whether you drill, or glue findings. Give it a try if you haven’t already. Darryl.

Very cool! I've used modeling clay for that sort of thing but it does leave a bit of residue which has to be cleaned off. Does the duct seal leave any residue?.....Mel

The duct seal can be a little greasy, but with a few wipes of a soft cloth it really brings out the shine. It also holds well under water for the drilling part.

I wish I could call these cabs, but they are preforms at best. I don't have grinding belts, discs, or wheels, so everything is flat without the "dome".
I managed to sell 50 pieces before Christmas and expect to unload another dozen or so by the end of the week to my wife's Gardening Club members. They are slowly catching on and most people who see them are genuinely interested in where they can get one. I've been encouraged to make more.

If you don't mind my asking, how much do you charge for these? You can PM me if you like.
Great idea, by the way and you get a nice shine from the residual oil so that's great.
