Well it was time for the annual trip to NYC for Christmas shopping and I am offically old at 41, because NYC just doesn't do it for me anymore. The best was Toys R Us in Time Square 12 days before Christmas, what a fiasco! But I was in search of these stupid zhu zhu pet hamsters that the kids want, so I had to make not 1 but 2 trips there, cause I bought the wrong color for my niece, LOL! Here's a few pics, the others pics are in Mom's camera, so these are pretty lame, but oh well!!!! For those craving the big city here it is, frankly good old Reading, crime capital of PA looks pretty good! Santa and Robert! He is at the age where he still believes or wants to, but won't sit on his lap,so standing counts! Time Square at night Empire State Building! $20 a person to go to 86 floor, $47 to go to the 106 floor, so here is a rainy view from the 86th, LOL The tree in Rockafeller Plaza was beautiful, but with 1200 other heads in the pic, oh well!!!! That's in Mom's camera! Fun to visit in the non Christmas season, but oh well it is a tradition that makes Mom happy. Amber

All those commercial enterprises and not a rock shop to be found? There's probably some nice material in the Empire State Building to slab. Nice trip.
Darryl.
PS - I didn't give up on believing in Santa until I went to university. I was pretty bummed when he didn't show my first Christmas away from home.

Great memories none the less, huh Amber! It's for your Mom, that's what counts. I know what you say about the "big city" toy stores. I was like a little kid again the first time I walked into FAO Schwarz in Chicago!
