This is a skinner with Kaleidascope jasper I got from Mary Ann. It has German silver bolsters and 440 stainless steel made in USA blade hardened to RC 57-58. Blade is 1 7/8" and overall is 5 1/8". Thanks for looking, Ken

Thanks for filling Toad in on what German silver is........ It is nickel silver mix that makes it harder than just silver. Ab, you forgot to tell him that the juice from the bratwurst is what makes it shine.... Ken

Another beauty! The caleidoscope is a very nice material, does is have an uniform hardness?

As always Ken perfect!! Ive never seen kaleidascope jasper, pretty stuff. Are You using Premium Knife blade blanks now? and if so how do You like them compared to others? Mike

Yes Mike, I order a few from them. I like this one. Dont like the lockbacks. I prefer to remove the handles so I have a good pattern to work from. Going to do the 'Mako' guthook skinner next. Probably next week. Really good blades on them. Also get some from SMKW and Blue Ridge knives. Ken
