Oh My I'm really going though withdrawl! I haven't managed to cab anything since late September, and I've been notably absent from here as well - I'm going crazy! Hubby's been building a wall in the basement as well as a closet for our winter coats & stuff - so all my cabbing stuff has been moved aside or packed up - it's been over 1 1/2 months since he started and we still need to finish painting one wall. I've managed to get my cabbing stuff in a corner but I now need to set the rest the stuff up so we can get things set up. I'm not sure how long it'll be but I'm really itching to slab stuff (My dad gave me a GFI plug that I have to install - so that should be interesting) and I'll be able to use the workforce inside hopefully. I really want to get cabbing again - I'm tearing through books one after the other and I need a hobby! Maybe soon...

Might want to get a GFI adapter plug for the end of the cord on the equipment. That way you can use it in any standard plug in. That would give you the option to move it anywhere you want to run it. They run about $12.00 in most Hdw. stores.

Harley For whatever reason, these things seem to be super hard to find in Canada - I couldn't find someone who knew what a GFI extension cord was, never mind actually finding the cord itself! I have a GFI plug outside so I don't plan on going anywhere else with this thing anyways. As for porn - yeah  , um, no! :nono: but then hubby wouldn't finish the darn basement and it would only take longer. Thanks for the idea though! ;D

A GFCI hooks up just like any other receptacle. Black wire to gold screw, white wire to silver screw and bare wire to ground or green screw. Any 3 wire cord will work, preferably 12-3. CAUTION: Turn off power to the old receptacle before replacing. Ken
