Well, my day didn't start off so good when we discovered the washer was no longer spinning or draining. So being the handy man I think I am I tore into it and disassembled and cleaned out the pump, checked the motor mounting, and flooded the laundry room twice. Finally I discovered it was the belt. A new belt solved the problem. So after much mopping and putting bandaids on my cut knuckles my door bell rang and my SO opened the door and started grunting and groaning and told me there was a heavy box for me. Cool! My secret santa gift was here! I tore it open and found the nicest selection of slabs and rough that could be stuffed into a FRB compliments of Tonyterner. I didn't have time to look at everything closely. I wanted to get some pictures up and say thanks to Tony for the great stuff. It will keep my hungry saws and tumblers humming along. Here's a shot of everything dumped out. That's StrongBad the Red Devil modeling in the background. A closer shot. And one more with StrongBad doing a glide through... Thanks again Tony! You really made my day! Rick

By his story, it does not sound like it was late, it looks like the timing was perfect. What a great box of Christmas cheer to turn your day happy.
StrongBad looks like he has his eye on the first two slabs.

No worries Tony. Like Sitnwrap said, your timing was perfect. I wouldn't have time to really enjoy the rocks until after Christmas...
Thanks again!

Well StrongBad may look like a friendly little fish, actually he's 10" long, but he is in solitary confinement in that 75 gallon tank for fishslaughter and pet owner mutilation. He is a Red Devil and his attitude fits his name. He's killed every fish that he has been in the same tank with. He even bites me when I clean his tank. He doesn't have teeth but he has strong scraping bones on his lips. He's drawn blood on me a couple of times when I wasn't looking.
Still he's an interesting fish. He entertains my grandson by charging at the glass every time my grandson puts his face to the tank. My grandson thinks he's playing.
I'll have to get some pics of my aquatic zoo. We are in the middle of re-arrainging the basement. So once everyone is moved and cleaned up I'll take some shots.

Rick, how old is that fish? I always laugh when at the local pet shop. They have a tank with a huge eel in and it attacks them when they reach in to get live rock or other items out of the tank.

I was talking to my son the other day about how old StrongBad was. The closest we can figure is he's 7-8 years old. So he's got another 7-8 years to go maybe more. Once cichlids get that big they tend to live a long time...
