:help: I have a ? I see grit listed as 60/90 than I see it listed as 80 is it both the same thing??

80 is just uniform 80 grit mostly for lapping i think -- 60/90 is not uniform it can be pieces between 60 grit and 90 grit mostly used for rough tumbling both work fine for tumbling but the 60/90 is cheaper -- the only uniform grit i use is 1000 for a pre polish i think it gives a better start to your polish run

I have never seen nor used an 80 grit. But then again, I do not have any type of lap unit right now.
In my Lortone 33B, I use 60/90, 120/220, Pre Polish (500), and Final Polish (1000).
In my vibe, I use the 120/220, 500, then the 1000.
