Hi Amber & Tony,
You sure got a good finish on them, and what a nice selection of shapes and colours as well.
Yes the Lot"O" needs regular checking as im sure other Vibes do , due to their fast cutting action especialy in the 220 stage you can soon have a block of stones if you dont add a few drops of water at the right time
All the best to you both for 2010,
Jack Yorkshire uk

Vibes definitely need a lot more hand-holding, but the trade-off is much faster processing. Looks like you got a really nice shine on some. Maybe a bit more culling of iffy material could have helped a bit. And also closer on moh's - looks like you have obsidian mixed with agate.

Glad to see you post a tumble Amber! That's a nice batch.
I just ordered 2 new lids for the ancient Lot O's that came with my saw. They were missing and I just haven't got around to replacing them. You guys are gonna get a kick out of these old timers! I'll post some pics soon!

Glad to see that you've got your Lot-O running again. Nice looking batch. Yeah, that last red one is super; in the 4th picture the stone on the farthest left, snowflake obsidian? I think, catches my eye too. I am trying to decide whether to get the UV-10 or Lot-O when I get my tax refund. Anyhow, thanks for showing that nice batch.

Looks like you are on the right track with that and got some beautiful shine! I am getting the feeling that the vibes work better if you don't start them in the 220. I have better results if I do that in the tumbler and just do the fine grind and the polish in the vibe or I really beat them up! Fran
