Howdy folks, When I was digging through my crate of Mexican stuff yesterday I came upon a big Laguna that had some interesting indications of sagenite on the exterior. It showed crystal too and most big Lagunas, like Coyamitos, are mostly crystal inside and pretty disappointing when slabbed for cabbing but I figured I'd hack it open and see what's inside anyway. Turned out to be a fairly cool specimen. Here are a couple of pics......Mel The cut off end which I'll save for a specimen. Pom pom sagenite in a big Laguna. Not too shabby. First couple of slabs. Usually sagenite undercuts when you try to slab it but the first slab looks to potentially have a pretty interesting cab in it.

Very nice, I like sagenites, especially when there is nice color contrast.
