This is the emerald I found at the Crabtree emerald mine 2009. This is so tiny for my big clumsy fingers it is wrapped in 24 ga gf. Thanks for looking Donna The side wrap is off and I adjusted it just didn't do another picture. That was a challange too.

Donna, that is stunning. Do you like working with the 24g? I have to order that size next. I want to try it out with the smaller cabs as I think the 22 g would just swallow the small cabs up.

What I have found with 24 gauge, I wrapped a 1.7 K. garnet with it once for hold power you almost need half hard. Donna

Thanks for that info. The 1/2 hard wouldn't bother me. I learned on 1/2 hard thinking it was dead soft when I started wrapping with square wire. lol

Wow, Donna, that is really pretty! I envy anyone who can wrap those little bitty ones like that - I can't even hardly see them when they're that small! Nice job!

thats very nice great color---- i just got my bag of rough tumbled mine run im gonna have to make some cabs -- wont have that color but they come out nice
