I don't know what this first stone is. This rock was in one of my goodie boxes from aunuts, about 1/2 tumbled, and it had a semi-flat back on it, so I shaped it up with the dremel, formed the cab, and tumbled it again! I really love the stone tho! It was so ......IDK....but it got frillies! This is MN red breccia...VERY cool lookin stone! This one also got a little frilly stuff, but I think it's ok...... Thanks for lookin' everyone!! Marie

Marie, those are really pretty, you are starting 2010 off with a bang. #1 is my favorite, maybe the contrast stone and wire, they both are beautiful. Donna

Both stones look great. Complex wraps - must have taken you a while...
The first one has mook colors, but not pattern. Cool, whatever it is.

Very pretty Marie! I really like what you've done on the bottom of both. They are both complex, yet not detracting from the stone-the elegant swirls frame each one very nicely. Well done! kj

Both are awesome, you have more imagination than I, and the knack to put it to use. I think that I like the second one the best, but both are very cool

I don't know how you do it but your swirly wraps looks so wild and free and at the same time controlled. I think it is the precision of your swirls and how tightly each wire lays to the other.

Carl this wire is 22 gauge square, and I use 24 gauge round for the bindings. Randy, Lori, Steve..........Thanks! Lori - honestly, I just start swirling the wire until it looks good LOL! I don't draw anything out on paper like a lot of people do, or anything, I just start plaing with it till it appeals to me! LOL

It seems that you do what I do: You let the wire do the talking and your fingers do the walking. lol
