Here is a pic of the back of the cab The beads are sewn onto a backing that the cab is glued onto using a backstitch. I then glued the bail onto the backing, covered it with a piece of mynewhobby's leather and did the final edging. Detailed instructions can be found in the book "beading with cabochons" by Jamie Cloud Eakin. It gives lots of project ideas and detailed pictures.
