Here’s a few almost pendants from the UV-10. These are mostly blob rocks, but there are a few preforms in the batch. All have been drilled and fitted with a gold “eye-up”. Glue is still drying. Add a jump ring and interpretive ID Card and these little piggies are ready for market. If you can name the rock, it is probably from The Rock Shed. If you can’t name the rock, it is probably something from the Bay of Fundy. The Batch Bay of Fundy Bay of Fundy Ocean Jasper and Girasol Ocean Jasper and Bay of Fundy Bay of Fundy, Ocean Jasper and Girasol Aventurine, Bay of Fundy, Desert Jasper and Girasol Personal Pic #1 – Blue Aventurine - Unlike the typical solid colour Personal Pic #2 - Ocean Jasper – You can see where the drill skated … OOOPS! Personal Pic #3 – Ocean Jasper – Semi-translucent malachite green with inclusion throughout Darryl.

Looks really great! I haven't tried the drilling yet. I am sure it would work better for earrings that I try to make because they are real buggers when you try to wrap them! Fran

Nice looking swingers you got there. Can you pass along any drilling tips? You certainly have plenty of drilling experience and no doubt a high success ratio.

Nice Batch with a large variety of rocks in there Darryl! You've been really productive! I too am curious about the drilling. How many bits did you go through and what kind did you use?

There have already been a few RTH posts on drilling that have helped me, but there are also many questions on drilling. I will try to pull together a little photo tutorial on drilling and post it. That will allow other members to add their own tips and tricks to the post.
Stay tuned ... it will take me a day or so to get organized with the photos.
Darryl.

You know maybe it's because I just went on a diet, but they look like a bunch of candies waiting to be boxed ;D Very nice pieces. Ed
