I love this first stone so much (from Donna and ken) that I bought a special colored wire, just for this stone. It's still silver plated wire, but it's rose colored...I really like it. Thanks for lookin everyone! Marie

That's some really nice work! Fancy, smooth curves and curls. It flows very nicely.

Goodness gracious, Marie! It's astonishing how far you've progressed with this wrapping stuff. Those are drop-dead gorgeous.
Curious - when you are getting ready to do a wrap like these, about how long do you cut the wrap wires? It looks like you must cut them at least twice as long as I do, because I never have enough left over after the bail to even attempt to do scrollwork like yours! Your wraps are all just beautiful artistry.

Thanks everyone for the niceties!! Kinda builds me up a little, makes me wanna do some more. Tom - Thanks!! I cut my wires probably 14-16 inches long, so I know I will have enough. 14 is probably closer to reality. Sometimes I get them shorter, and it aggravates me....I don't use a ruler to measure very often. BUT, if you will look closely, you will see that part of my swirls come from the wires in the backs of my wraps. I HATE having anything that may even posssibly snag in the back of the wrap, so I bring them around and use them in the front! Thanks again guys!!! Marie

I dont know how you do it Marie but you manage to make "foo foo" wraps that still allow the beauty of the stone to show through.........and your loops and curls are so professional looking compared to some, including mine. LOL If you lived closer, Id have you show me how you do those.

Like Shannon stated, your pendants have in the same time gorgeous wire loops and show the stone. The seccond one is my favorite. You are very talented!

Thanks Shan, Moon, Adrian, & Randy!!!! Nature....Ummmm, you sure you want ME to do something like that? Cuz umm, I'm not sure anyone would understand it if I did...heck I'm not sure I do!! LOL Besides....At least 1/2 of my pictures would probably stink, so you guys would be twisting and mangling wire, cuz that's what it would look like! Thanks for the compliment tho......*B* By the way....umm...still waitin on that ring tut!! LOL Thanks again you guys! I added a couple more to my etsy store tonight that I didn't post on here, if you guys wanna see them, the 2 I added are cabs from Donna & Ken, I just love those cabs!!!! Marie

Yes please do a tutorial on your scrolls and photo the backs too for us beginners. Your work is fantastic. On the second one in silver what is the gauge of wire ? I am still in the beginning practice stage using inexpensive wire. Thanks

haleysdream - This is 21 ga square wire, with 24 ga round wire for the binds. I'm not sure about doin a tut on this subject, I haven't been doin it that long either, so not so sure I have enough experience at it. If you have any questions, I will try to help with what I can, just send me a PM anytime.

Wow Marie, you just keep turning out those beauties. I don't know how you get the wires to bend so gracefully and evenly.

Thanks Jean!! Montana - Thanks! Both of these cabs are 1.25"x1" (31x25mm), and were sent to me by Donna & Ken! Awesome ain't they? The swirls I cannot explain really, they just kinda happen that way! Thanks again everyone!! Marie
