;D I think I am enjoying cutting more than ever now that I'm actually taking the time to prepare the rocks and glue them on boards. It's so much nicer to get even slices and to be able to cut up a whole rock and not just a face cut. These are some of the latest....and I have quite a few more on boards ready. The new blade I bought from John (JSGems) is working fabulously! First off is a Red Plume type material. This stuff was collected just outside of Moab. Can't think of the mtn. it was on...but I have a few more chunks. Any ID's?? Close-Up Dino Bone! This is a close-up. I have about 4 slabs from this one piece and it's all gorgeous. Mexican Agates....I'm Gonna throw out guesses...and they could be wrong. Both of these nodules were broken on the face and if I hadn't taken the time to glue them to boards I could have never gotten a full face cut. These are really AWESOME and I'm QUITE HAPPY with the treasures. Coyomito??? Laguna??? Thanks for taking a peek. Steve

Golly Steve that some ugly dino bone "NOT!!!!!" That stuff rules! I think you've got the agate IDs the same as I'd call them. Never seen that first stuff but it sure is pretty....Mel

How do you glue them on boards and what do you use as glue?

those are all beauties Steve! Some are so pretty, they will be hard to determine where to make a cab! I know I would be sitting and studying for quite a while before I could decide! Fran
