Beautiful stone and cab. The pattern resembles a bit with length cut turritella, funny coincidence. Cute kitty, too Adrian

Jeff:) This stone is one of your best. But everyone I see is your best. Maybe your best for today, tomorrow you will come up with another best:) That chocolate color is delicious. I like that kitty too. Mine supervises everything I do:) Also erases a lot of things I say with his big ole paw. G uess 33333333333333333333333 see what i Mean................

Beautiful bruneau, there's such depth to the stone.

Now this is AAA Bruneau. Many orbs, sharp lines, 3D effect. The best Bruneau you have posted to date.

Never seen that before. Interesting color and certainly different than the usual Bruneau.

I got some black and green bruneau that I’d like to add to this thread when I get a chance. It’s cool stuff for sure.

Heh, leave it to you, realrockhound, to hound out the good stuff - in a twelve year old thread. We have a small amount of black, and green, too.
Paid an old friend's "hate to part with it" price when he first started selling off his collection, but it was worth it. Ours are smalls. He said the old timers would throw that stuff over the hill back when he lived up there. They were after the big ones. He worked those tailings for what we now have.
I guess that area has been "off-limits" for a few years now, right?

This is a great thread and I don't think I even knew that black bruneau was a 'thing.'
It will take me a few days but I'll see if I can repair the original photos to get rid of the pb graffiti.

From my understanding you can still go down there, but you can’t dig. The road is almost inaccessible and I’m not sure if they allow any types of atv’s

Yeah, off-limits for collecting is what I was thinking. Can't remember if I heard no motorized vehicles or not.
Here's a link to video of a couple of old-time miners:
Might have seen one black in the video.
