What a way to boost the contest entries--they sure are nice. I am particularly impressed by your shaping. I've had great luck with shine on obsidian, but my shaping is nowhere near as good as yours.

Real nice batch, Julie! I have to agree with you - I really enjoy working with obsidian, also. I'm always surprised when I toss some into a batch of something else, and at the end, the obsidian is the best-looking stuff in the batch!

You know me, I can find a hundred things wrong with them but I won't.
Susan ... funny you would say that. I do as much as is possible free form.
I am not a pre designed person and when pieces come out so unique, I just love them!!! Thanks for that compliment!!!
I let the tumbler do the work. I cut/break up into the sizes that I like and then let it rip in the tumbler and let the tumbling create the shapes.
