Hey Cul-Ann:) This is not Indiana but Iowa but maybe you can work this place into your plans this summer and it will tell you more about geodes than you prolly want to know. I have a friend who found a 300 lbs geode in the river close to this place. He still hasnt gotten it out. LOL www.geodegallery.com/keokuk.html

Any creek bed in central Indiana will be loaded. They're all over the place in Bloomington. Jackson Creek is pretty good. The creeks that feed Lake Monroe have tons of 'em. All different shapes and sizes.

I did the flatlands along the banks of the White river way down south in West Washington county. Hundreds of pounds of geodes, just lying around for the taking. That river constantly floods the flatlands alongside, so there are many areas that are easy to access, I just took my GPS and followed roads along the river until I came across open areas and went looking.
