Is anyone going to, or exhibiting at the Tucson show? I will be dry camping in my tent at Electric Park this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. That will be my "home base" as I check out as many shows as I can. Please let us know if you will be there in this thread. That way way we can visit you and meet each other. I noticed that HarryZ will be there so I plan on going to his area.

We'll be at the Barranca Diamond/MK tent at TEP through the 7th and floating around town the following week.

WOW! It was so great meeting Amber & Tony, Tony & Chris, and seeing Mary Anne & Ralph again. Also saw Condor yesterday, met the Richardsons (Richardson Ranch), former owner of Alpha Supply, and the new owner of rock shop in Fallon.

There is a slight chance we are going to head out to Arizona or New Mexico after Feb 15. Does anyone know if you can just set up at a camping area and sell some rock? We are wanting to get rid of some drusy quartz. I won't even know if we get to go until the 15, doubting it, but there is a chance.

Our show ends the 14th. I don't know if anything lasts past then. If you want to sell from a campsite you might do better in Quartzite but that should be pretty dead by now also.

Thanks John. We've been reading and most show until the end of February, so wasn't sure. I'd hate to take a bunch out there, then come home with it. LOL The rock shop near Demming wanted us to bring some next time we were out that way. So there may always be a chance. We are just ready to go get some more, but I'm running out of room for it and we want some new stuff for a show we do in June. I may end up lining another flower bed with it.

Some of the Quartzite shows are year round. Desert Gardens runs through end of February but by now it has earned it's popular name "Deserted Gardens". I can't find my Tucson guide but am pretty sure all shows end this weekend or before.

Hi Condor, I will be there from Wed. through Sunday & Electric Park is one of my very favorite places to be while I'm there. Where will you be? I'll come look for you. What are you selling? Are you interested in trading any local AZ agate for whatever you have?

I think we may have to give up on ever going to the shows there. We try each year and the timing is always horrid. Maybe next year.
