I dont think I would cook dino bone, I`ll check on the lace though. I have a chart somewhere of different temps for different rocks. Its the minerals in the clay surrounding the coral that gives it the different colors.

Beautiful cab and color! Looks like orange ivory. Is it as hard as regular agate or calcite based? Do you think it could be carved?

So awesome -- I live in Florida so 98% of anything I find that's cool is coral agate. Great polyp capture in the cut and spectacular cab!
