I finally did a batch in my lortone 3A I picked up for $20 at a garage sale. I had to laugh when the box had used once written on it. Only the coarse and fine bags of grit had been opened. Somebodys patience wasn't too good. This is blue and spotted sodalite from the rockshed.    snuffy |

Wow that sodalite really took a good shine. I would say that you got a good deal on that used only once tumbler lol. The really dark piece is my favorite. Of course that's my favorite color.

I have two pounds of the same sodalite from The Rock Shed in waiting. I think you've inspired me to get active with it. Nice!
The last batch from The Rock Shed definately had more really dark blue to black in it than usual.

Sodalite shapes up real fast,I only ran it in coarse about 3 days,I think I lost about ahalf to a third of the volume. Got to watch it or you wont have much left.lol
