Sorry to hear about your fall Sheri, I hope you're feeling better and are all warmed up.
Thanks for posting the pix. Looks like you all had a great time. I can't believe the equipment someone had along! - A jackhammer?!?! WOW!!! LOL!

Sheri: Sorry to hear that you fell, from the clue, I think maybe you sat on a rock a wee bit hard. I pray the injury is just some bruising, and nothing serious. I also laughed about the hole in the air mattress, but remembered how hard rocky ground has gotten to be.
I really wanted to come down this year, but that was not to be, so hopefully next year. From the photographs, it sure looks like all had fun, and collected some nice rock too. As usual Tony seems to have managed the largest piece again. Woody

OK guys and Girls.............I will try to set something up in November!! I am feeling much better, only some strained muscles. Woody is right, I was being greedy with the purple agate and my feet went out from underneath me. I will be posting some more pics to help identify members this afternoon.

Good pics, thanks for sharing. I'm going to spill the beans a little because what she didn't mention is how she hurt her back in the first place, right Brent?? Yep, the first day we went out (before everyone else got there), Brent got stuck in a wash. When she picked up big rocks and then tried to push his truck out she hurt her back. I don't think the fall down the hill or the sleeping in the tent helped any either. Sure hope it gets to feeling better Sheri. Oh yes, and as for the "interesting conversations", we'll talk about that tomorrow....LOL. Sorry all, inside joke. But you know what happens around the fire in Burro Creek stays in Burro creek....lol. I'll try to post some pics and a few of my stories later.

OM Gosh we finally made it home, we were delayed due to the 28" of snow in Phila, and now another 18" is coming tomorrow! Yuck!
What can I say about this trip? I am probably the most prissy one of the bunch and I would do it again in a minute, the friendships and people are too great to describe. We cannot thank Ralph and Mary Ann enough for allowing us to stay in their RV, opening their home to us, and many other great things they did! The overall generosity of everyone, it was a such a great time! Meeting old friends and new ones, one thing is for certain, never met an RTH'er I didn't like! So many great memories, RTH is really like family, I hated leaving everyone, I said we need a big RTH commune!!!! And yes what happens in Burro Creek stays in Burro Creek, there was no shortage of laughter!!!!! I am back at work today and missing everyone! Amber

Wow, What a great time we had. We are now in Cochise, Az. heading for Texas. The group of people we met were the best. I have to agree with Amber Rth is a good family and great people. What goes on at Burro creek stays at Burro Creek for sure..... We will talk about it tomorrow !! Don and I loved meeting all of you. Thanks for good memories. Dorothy and Don

Chris and I made it home this afternoon, and I had been gone for so long they shut my internet off, so I had to call and get it turned back on before I could get online. The closer we got to home the better my truck ran, don't know if it is the altitude gain or like an old horse, it knows when it is headed home!
I had a BLAST the whole month we were gone, and I got to meet so many new RTH friends!
I will download some pics and put some on when I get some time, but first I need to unload some things before it snows here.
Thanks everyone for making this past month and this past weekend a very memorable one!!
Tony and Chris

Great pics. I have a few I'll post later in the week since I'm still in AZ with Jamie and Rodney. I can't say enough great things about all the new friends I have made and some great friends that I finally was able to hug and say hi to face to face.
I'm suppose to fly home Thurs but with the weather expected in MA, I may be staying longer. YIPPPEEEEEE!
Amber, you were right, Jamie tried to walk my butt off but with all that good food, it just wasn't going to happen. LOL.
Will do more catching up when I get home.

I made it home last night. I had a blast and enjoyed meeting everyone. When I got home it was -20C and windy...I sure miss Arizona. Now comes the long hard work of unpacking my truck and all the rocks, then getting ready for next year.

Glad to see everyone made it home safe. It does suck to be back even though we weathered the cold, rain and hail at Burro Creek I'd still rather be there than here. It was great to see all the friends we made back on our August trip and to make some new ones. Ralph and Mary Anne are the sweetest people and we were glad they followed us to the casino on our last night. Tony and Chris are rock maniacs. Three of the boulders they loaded were over 250 pounds. The new friends we made are sure to become life long buddies. The food was all so tasty. The mine trip was certainly a highlight, thanks to Jamie for coming up with the idea and to Sherri for making it happen. The campfire talk was, well, um, er, lets just say embarrassing but fun. I took 235 pictures so I will need to do a little culling before I post some. Thanks again to everyone there. You made this such a memorable trip.
