I have 2 Lortone tumblers - a 1 1/2 lb. & a 3 lb. I've had them for many years & they've worked fine up until now. The problem is that the motors seem to be running OK, but while I'm running them, the barrels keep popping off of the little nut rests that supports them & they stop tumbling. Does anyone know what causes this? :help: Thanks in advance for any help.

Never had that happen. Do you have an extra large rock in there?

Thanks Toad. No, no especially big rocks. But, I actually solved the problem on one of them. A little bit of oil goes a long way! Doh! Just call me Homer.

If you have been running it dry you should clean up the shaft bearings and inspect. Better to replace worn plastic bushings than shafts.

Tell Homer he should have to put up with getting only "Dear John" letters and let's not even talk about what people do when they "go to the John".
