I picked this up at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas. Not sure what it is, jasper maybe? What ever it is, it's one HARD rock! Took 1/2 hour for each cut. Later, jeri

Nice score! Hard cuts usually lead to mirror polishes.

Thanks for looking. Those cuts took so long I thought my blade was dull. So I got out some ugly looking pitted seam(?) quartz and it cut just fine. Some nice surprises inside, but nothing spectacular. This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun! ;D ;D ;D Later, jeri
