As you noticed, I did not make it to Burro Creek, so with the grace of our Rockhobbit (Sheri) and the rest of the gang, Burro Creek came to woody via a Post Office FRB. The PO did their best to break this one open, since the box was roughly the shape of a footy ball when it arrived. Here it is And here is the third bucket of slabs from a week ago.

Woody: Catman worked really hard getting these boxes together for everyone I think he may have had almost 30 boxes to fill, he brought them all addressed, labelled, taped them, it was quite a production line, he wheeled in 2 huge wheelbarrows of rocks off his truck and then said they were not full enough, a big thanks really needs to go to him for all that work!!!! Catman and Chris are truly remarkable people!

I got mine and there is only one bad part about it. It is too cold to cut any right now! Woody, I am counting on you to do some burro creek cutting so I can see what is in store! I love the last batch you sliced up too! Fran

Wow, it does look like that box has seen better days. Looks like you were busy with your saw after you got the box. Yep, Amber, I agree big kudos go out to Tony (catman) for the boxes. It was fun filling them up with all those rocks and knowing they were going to people who'd appreciate them. Diane

Got My Burro Creek box today woohoo , mailman left it at the local dropoff spot yesterday. I did get to open it right before a norther blew in so sorry no pictures. Looks like great stuff in that box, I think it said 24#. I want to thank each and every person that helped to fill this box, for the organization of the trip even though I could not make it I have some nice rocks to show. Special thanks to catmandew for putting up the offer for the rocks and boxing and shipping. Again thanks to all of you.

You cut some mean slabs out of that box of rocks Woody. Yup, Tony kept at it till they were all filled. I kept wondering when he was going to tire and slow down but he just kept going, and going and going. Chris also, man, where they get their energy must be on a rocky hidden path somewhere. lol
