I've also ordered the xtra large tumbling rough from rocksnpots, less than a dollar a lb including shipping. That is about as large as I would want to go in my 12 lb.The largest rock I did was about a lb.You have to have an assortment from small to large. When I tried 4 or 5 large ones, they didnt work out well.Somebody with a 15 lber could tell you better.

Hey, crossfire. Dont take my word as gospel on the size of the rock. That was just my experience with larger ones, so I see you are getting a 12lb lortone. Others on here with this size could tell you more. I use mine mostly for tumbling smaller pieces of pet wood. Good luck, thats a nice machine.

I didn't look at every single page though. Where is their big rough at? Tumbler mix at $1.25, but it was all pretty small sizes.

Look under Tumbler mix. It lists individual lots. The xtra large mix sells for $15. click on pic and it shows this lot weighs 25 lbs.Add 7.95 for shipping. Thats 22.95 for 25 lbs.

I agree with mudshark about buying from the members on here also.I dont want to appear to be endorslng a certain site.I've bought rocks from I guess everyone listed on here at one time or another with no complaints.
