I have an 18" Highland Park. I am running the original Congo blade right now. My question is, should i stop the cut right when the slab falls, or let it continue to cut, and get that last little nub that is always left on the rock. The blade is pretty stiff, and is in good shape for it's age, but i don't want to dish it. Thanks

Stick: Your saw should have an automatic shutoff.......HP modified the switch with a wire leading into the saw that attaches to a chain that attaches to the carriage, so you set the lenght of chain to shut the saw off when the saw is completely through the rock. The wee nub will not hurt the blade on a powerfeed saw. Woody
