I started this batch when Julie was doing hers,rushed it,it had frosted edges.I put it back through in a rotary this time,meanwhile,Fran had finished her nice batch. I aint babysitting this stuff no longer. Some tears in the batch A few snowflakes snuffy

I think you did a great job but I know what you mean! You know they can look stunning and they get just about there but not quite. Still beautiful but not at the point you want them to be...I think we are just perfectionists You sure have a beautiful batch here! Fran

Snuffy: Man I know what you mean I have my first obsidian batch in the Lot-O and let me tell you that sucker is more high maintenance than me, LOL. I would say this batch looks pretty good, did you add cerium for the final polish? I am thinking of throwing that in mine since it makes an obsidian cab shine! I would be pleased with these results.

Obsidian can be a bit persnickety. Yes, they can be a pain in the ass.
And ... yes ... I would love to babysit them as well. ;D

Amber, I ran them 6 days in ao polish,then 5 days in cerium oxide when I remembered I had some that I'd never used. snuffy
