A month ago Cindi at customgemstones.com cut a few of my garnets. Previous to this I had sent some to Thailand to have cut. I could tell there's no comparison between the two cuttings. The Thai stones were sort of dull/flat, no sparkle. Cindi's stones really look so much nicer. It's hard to put into words the difference. I wanted to give the gems as rings to my wife and daughters for Valentines Day. Cindi suggested I should use tripps.com to buy ring blanks and set the stones in rings myself. I picked out the rings and called tripps. The nice customer rep on the phone could tell I was a bone head guy who knew nothing about setting gems in rings. She said, "send them to me, I'll do it for you." (I believe it's not their policy to set stones, only sell the jewelry blanks, especially for free.) I sent them to her and she did everything. I'm very thankful. If I had done it I might have destroyed the rings, broken the gems and resorted to duct tape to make them stick to their fingers. Then tripps express shipped the finished rings back to me so I could have them in time for V Day. In the end the wife and girls loved the rings and I got to look like the hero. A sincere thanks to both sites and a very high recommendation. Wife's ring in white gold Daughters in silver

Awww Tim. You are such a wonderful husband and father. The things you make for them and the way you think up such neat gifts for them. They will always remember it and smile when they do:) Very pretty stones and I love the settings you picked out for them.
