Hey - I'll buy the agates too! (I would, but Steve called dibs...)
(See what you started...)
Anyway,
Steve, regarding displaying - don't be nervous. You are gonna kick some major donkey (&ss) with your collection! Don't be shy, I tell you. You are gonna find drool marks all over your case when you go by it!
Display - I ain't got close to your collection and I display. Our show here is on March 6 and 7th. Gonna take some pictures of material for the index if allowed (Hint hint, steve, if your show is coming up...)
Truthfully. You got major agates to share with the world, and even if you just display 10 or 15 artfully placed around the case - it'll attract a lot of attention.
Please do photos of it and post!
Lowell

Steve, our show in Helena is in April too. I did my first display two years ago. I won second place. I know, shocking...lol. It was a display of minerals I collected in Montana, yes, including a few agates.
I don't have near the agates you do so bet your display will be a drool worthy agate one. Hmmm, I might have to do an agate display this year if I decide to do one. There is a guy who sells at our show and always has a display of Dryhead Agate. Actually he just puts a bunch of dryheads in the display and calls it good..lol. It is beautiful stuff though.
Wish I had help to do a display, take good advantage of that for sure. I can never quite get mine to look as nice as other members or even as nice as I want it to look. I'll look forward to pictures of your display with great anticipation.

Wow Steve, that's an amazing collection. You could stick them on playdough in a cardboard box for a display case and they still would win best in show.

The fortification and moss agate looks like it's drooling which is exactly what I did when I saw it. Beautiful stones!
