hi i have now got all my tools and got some cheap cabs to have a go at wrapping but not sure what the best wire to get to practice what thickness should i get, please could someone help thanks alison :help:

22 Ga. square for the main wires and 22 ga. 1/2 round for the wrap wires. That is the optimal sizes.

thanks just wondered what is the best for a practice rather that using silver straight away is there anything you could recommend dont want to use good stuff straight away

I ordered from Brandywine and got really good service, fast delivery and they are the only place I found that has copper in square and 1/2 round. They don't carry 22 gauge half-round but 21 gauge works well with the 22 square, or so I've been told.
