Hi All!!
Refresh my memory .... When I want to finish off, albeit either pre or final polish .... when can I safely stop the rotary action and dump the batch into a vibe for finishing?
I just got done looking at Amber's batch in her Lot O and a couple of others in their vibes ... and dam I am so jealous .... but at the same time ... I am very impatient. (hush to those that know me)
As always Julie

The point of the rotary is the shaping/rounding in the course grind. SO no reason not to switch to the vibe right after course. All the other steps will go faster.

I agree with Dan. I use the rotary for shaping/rounding only. After that, it's on to the vibe. Perfect for those of us who are impatient. But, the vibe cannot make up for shortcuts taken in the coarse grind and proper loading with lots of small material is a must.

Great info here, and a big help. I'm going to try this, start my rough in the tumbler then take it to the vibe. Sounds like a good way to speed up the process some.
