Hello All,

I am going to be in the Jeffrey City and the Fontenelle area of Wyoming come the weekend of Memorial Day and the week after. Does anyone know of any cool spots, in or around Jeffrey City. I am going for some blue wood near Fontenelle with a group, but after will be heading north up to Jeffrey City and down to Rawlins and back to I-84 thru Wamsutter and maybe a little south of Green River and then back home to Idaho.

Any suggestions and or directions would be great, as this is my only fun week for rockhounding, my vacation for the year.

Hey Brad, My brother Brain (Wyobrian) lives in Rawlins,and Mike(Mikes) is in Casper...those would be the two to ask and get togeather with...There is Sweetwater agates by Jeffery City..Some Jade also...And out by Wamsuttter is some turritella and stromotlite .We found some good stuff there last August.....I'll tell Brian to pm ya...John

He is going with me, I am trying to pre-plan spots to find stuff at and also the Blue wood is with a Tri-Federation fieldtrip, so I decided to make a good week of it.

In the next few months we may be out your way to look thru the pile, I think he has cut everything up that he got from you last time.
