Has anyone reused ceramic shapes in each and every one of the phases as grits 80 all the way through polish ? I read that this can be done as long as u put them in a burnishing cycle by themselves between phases and wash them very well or is it just better to have dedicated shapes ... Iam trying to see if I could get by washing them very well ... Any opinions on how easy they will transfer contamination ?

I run them through from the start and rinse with the rocks. They don't embed with grit. I'm talking about the non-abrasive angle cut cylinders.

I use two sizes of angle cut cylinders in the 60/90 phase in the rotary. Then when I move to the vibe I switch to ceramic beads and use the same ones all the way through polish.
