Hi Everyone! Fossil Brain's wife here! Got really excited when he brought home some epoxy putty! Fun stuff! I call this pendant Gold Leaf Sunrise. jcinpc gave my Husband a bunch of rocks and within these I found this beautiful slab. Extremely soft. Can anyone tell me what it is?? Perhaps you can, jcinpc??? Thank you jcinpc for the rocks..way too generous! I made this pendant with a hammered spoon for the base, epoxy putty, mysterious rock, gold paint, and resin.  |

How interesting! I really like what you came up with and am impressed by your creativity. Now as for what the cab is, I don't know. The pattern reminds me a bit of some rhyolite but the colors and apparent texture don't seem right--
I'm sure someone will come along with an answer for you, though.

That's a fantastic pendant Caborella! It's very creative.
I would guess that cab is probably agatized coral from JC, as it looks similar to other pieces he's worked/posted.

Very Nice! That cab looks like a picture jasper that I have and it was a softer stone, I think from AZ.
What ever it is, it is beautiful and you did a nice job of creating!
