I thought I'd try it out the copper wire I just bought. I did not like it as well as silver but the copper looked good for these cabs. Imperial Jasper in 22g copper Imperial Jasper - back Mookiate in 22g copper Mookiate - back The mookiate was originally wrapped in silver - it was the first wrap I did but it looked horrible to me so I reworked it in copper. I like the copper better. For reference, here is the original wrap of the mook:

These are so beautiful! I only know how to do the standard wire wrap, so I really appreciate the uniqueness (sp?) of these. Very Very Nice!

Very nice wraps. I love the stones too. I was a little surprised you re-wrapped your first wrap, but I have to agree that the copper is a much better color with the mook. It seemed washed out with the silver.

Great eye with the mook and the copper wire. It really makes the cab stand out. Hang on to the silver so you can scrap it.

Thank you all so much, gosh. It is great to have such encouragement. I'm a recovering perfectionist and nothing ever seems to look great to me but hearing it from others really helps give me perspective. I guess it is true we are our own worst critics. I'm just glad my camera isn't better because otherwise those kinks in my wire would really show up... Cab, you will get there. I just jumped right in and started swirls so if I can do it anyone can do it. Come join the "swirly club" LOL. Nate, I was surprised too...lol. My hands were shaking as I cut the wire off of that wrap. I just kept repeating to myself, keep the wire you can always scrap it later. Maybe Lori was in my head....lol. It also helped that I saved some longer sections when I cut it so I could use it for practice. Thank you and and keep on wrapping! Diane
