Howdy folks, This is a batch of larger stones and slabs. Kind of forgot them and left them in polish 8 days and got the best shine I've ever achieved. Mixed batch again but I'll show separate pics of some of the types included. Thanks for looking....Mel Whole batch and these UV-10's do a bunch of rock at one time! Brazilians: Indian Blackskins and Montanas: Stromatolite stuff from our yard: Hornitos, Indian Green Moss and misc small slabettes: Couple Woodward Plumes: Crazy Lace, mostly Chinese Writing lace: Flint Ridge Flint: Couple of big Prairies, a psilomelane and an ammey sage: Few big Lavic Siding Jasper pieces:

Awesome batch!! I vibe all of my stuff for at least a week now, and final burnish for 24 hours. I'll bet that if you vibe them for 2 weeks, they'd glow in the dark ;D

May I ask what polish you used for this batch?
ooooh so shiny. They are gorgeous!
The stramatolite almost looks like it has potential schiller going on there. (The piece on the left and on the bottom.) How do those look under the sun?

yaygems: I always use the aluminum oxide polish sold by the Rockshed. It's cheap and does a fantastic job. No schiller on the sromatolite stuff, just real shiny....Mel

That Flint Ridge and the Crazy Lace are tops in my book. Great polish on all of it. Where does the Flint Ridge flint come from?

Carlos: I got the Flint Ridge from a fellow named Gary Hardy that has a place right at Flint Ridge outside Newark, Ohio. It is really beautiful stuff and really takes a terrific shine...Mel

Very nice batch Mel. We always enjoy looking at the variety of stones you polish. Of course we like the Montana agate and all agate for that matter. Debby & Tom
