A couple of weeks back, My dog the skeleton of an Elk somebody had shot, and was too embarrassed to take the rack. I thought the antlers would make good handles so, I took the rack. Today, whilst knapping, I made a knife blade for one of the antlers. BTW, the knife handle is the entire antler. So far, I think I have only knapped about twenty points, plus the knife. Woody

I didn't know you knapped too! I tried that once and failed miserably. You knappers make it look so simple. I like the Knife! Steve

Awesome knife Woody! I have watched a few videos on knapping, and it looks like a ton of work. Looks like you put it all together nicely.

Not too bad...you need to get a dental pick to get those partially detached flakes off...make the blade look prettier. And DON"T drop it. I had 5 knives on a table in Q a few years back and an A** knocked them all off - broke every one of them..."Oh, sorry dude" Grrrr

Thank you for the dental pick tip........I thought it was just my knapping that caused these, not thinking to remove them. Woody
