I had started 5 tumblers a few weeks ago,and 3 came out of polish today. One was ocean jasper, this isnt high quality, but I didnt pay a high quality price, either. But I still like it.I've been having heck getting decent pics today, couldnt capture the shine on my pet wood pics outside earlier today, and couldnt get these like I wanted tonight, most likely me and not camera. Pic taken outside today to show truer colors. snuffy

Snuffy!!!
I think they look great as well. I love Ocean Jasper!
Question for the masses ... Is Ocean Jasper AKA Orbicular Jasper?
I am probably just having a duh moment as I cannot seem to find that information on my own.

Hi! So far as I know, orbicular jasper describes the pattern in the jasper, i.e., round inclusions. Ocean jasper comes from a particular location, or maybe vein, in Madagascar. Some Ocean Jasper is orbicular in nature, some doesn't seem to be.
All the above being said, I think sometimes ocean jasper is called orbicular jasper, depending upon who you are speaking to.
I guess that really confused things!
