Well, for me anyhow. My daughter (Harlie) likes sparkly rocks. I cabbed this one last night and wrapped it this morning (she hasn't seen it yet). Also, no training wheels. I couldn't find the scissors this morning, so I didn't use any tape to keep the wires together. By doing this, I realized for the first time that I don't need tape anymore. Hell yeah! lol, check it out.......

Beautiful, she will love it. Used no tape, wow I am impressed. Doubt I'm at that point or will ever be but it's something to shoot for I suppose.

So pretty. Bet this will get you a big hug and kiss from Harlie. The best payment ever, huh?

I really like that cab with the druzy, it makes me want to bust up some of my dugway geodes for their druzy...nice wrap too!

Well, she loves it. I could tell because she said it was pretty (with excitement) before I told her that it was hers. The reason I know she loves it, she usually says "that's ugly". lol... In person, it sparkles a lot!

That's fantastic Randy. What a great gift. Did you dop the cab or grind it by hand? I've got some I want to cab and am not sure how to work it because of the hole in the center.

Nate- I never dop, all of my stuff is by hand. Just be careful, I used to let the wheel ride against my finger, but I finally got tired of losing blood all the time. lol

Thaks Randy. I almost have to dop, as I use a flat lap. Maybe not. I guess all I can do is try.

Flat lap might be a little more challenging, but for a druzy pendant like mine you'd have to do it by hand or risk filling the pocket with dopping wax.

You're not too far from Jo, she can show you a few tricks to wrapping. This stuff isn't too hard at all, it all gets better with practice. Marie (superioragates) just started in September, look at her stuff!

Yep, be glad to. Greg and I plan to get together real soon and do some cutting together. Gonna send him home with some PA quartz too so he has enough for a full quartz load... or two, LOL. Greg, when we get together, we'll go over some wrapping too!
