If I were to name that first one it would be "Simple Elegance"...

LOL, did you see the tutorial I wrote? It's about the 4th thread down in this section. It's fairly easy to follow, and you can get copper wire really cheap from "Brandywine" jewelry suppliers. They sell square wire and half-round wire just like we use. You can also get the tools from either Ebay or I think Micheals sells them too. Once you get comfortable with wrapping stones in copper, you can move up to 14k gold filled wire. You should try it!!

All your cabs/wraps are beautiful, but I have to say, that first one is my absolute favorite. Although I like all the swirls, curls and such (for someone else) I prefer simplicity. And that wrap is just, as someone already said, Simple Elegance!

Nice wraps once again, Randy. What does the back look like on that first one? Only curious to see how ya did it.
I wish I could get my curls as rounded and clean as yours. I am practicing but just can't seem to get the hang of rounding out the curves. Hmm, maybe I hear another tutorial calling your name?? You show the curls in the tutorial but not really step by step how you get the wires to curve around without them bending or kinking. Or is it just me not getting the hang of it?

On the second wrap, only the three loops in front of the cab were done with a tool (round-nosed pliers). All other curved bends (including the loops that fit tight against the bail) were done completely by hand. I could actually do the loops by hand too I think, I'm gonna try it on my next one. I'll take a pic of the back of the first one tomorrow, and also thinking about doing another complete tutorial. I've figured out a few things that make this a little easier, but ya gotta practice!!
