Yup, that one is bone for sure. Nice stuff, and I like how you did the photos. Ive been doing that lately too. Not enough to take away from the focal point but just a nice background and border. Me likey the moss agate. Shan

Thanks guys, gonna start thinking of shapes, got the trim saw out tonight and need to tune it up, maybe get another blade for it. The one on it is too wide, it's got a tile blade on it and I want to get something else that I can do a bit more precise cuts with. Then all I need is a cab machine...lol..

Very cool slabs. I Really like the Butner agate. Nate Me too, think I'm going to flatten the bottom and polish both sides but leave the rest natural as a display piece.

Those are all great! I would say that you should draw some patterns on the wood, cut out the preforms and then turn on the side, measure, draw a line and cut. There is always waste when cutting so you should still have two identical preforms with plenty of depth to work with. Have fun! Fran
